Diddy is charged with two new sexual offenses one month before his trial
Diddy’s “Freak Off” parties are implicated in his alleged sex trafficking, according to the new indictment.
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ current sex-trafficking case now includes two additional accusations following his most recent indictment.
The founder of Bad Boy Records was first accused in September of last year with one crime of sex trafficking, one act of racketeering conspiracy, and one count of transportation to engage in prostitution.
According to The Post, the latest indictment, which was made public in Manhattan federal court on Friday morning (April 4), includes one additional count each of sex trafficking and transportation to participate in prostitution. According to the complaint, these accusations relate to a second alleged victim.
Prosecutors have described Diddy’s much-discussed “Freak Off” parties as “elaborate and produced sex performances,” where Puff used “force, threats of force, and coercion” to get women to sleep with male prostitutes. The new indictment emphasizes the part that Diddy’s parties played in his alleged sex trafficking. A representative for the hip-hop producer maintained earlier this week that Diddy’s freak offs were always agreed upon.
The two new accusations are brought barely one month before his trial, which is anticipated to begin on May 12 and jury selection to begin on May 5. Combs has entered a not guilty plea to each of the five accusations and is presently incarcerated in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
According to Marc Agnifilo, his attorney, “He looks forward to his day in court when it will become clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in sexual acts against their will.”
