Rick Ross Adds Golf Carts for Wheelchair Users to Make His Car Show More Accessible Following a Lawsuit

Everyone is having more fun at Rick Ross’s auto show.

Following a lawsuit from a disabled fan, the MMG tycoon has promised to make his well-known auto exhibition wheelchair accessible. The case was launched by Darris Straughter, a disabled individual who bought tickets to the 2024 performance but was unable to attend due to the wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus’s non-arrival. The event declined to reimburse him for his ticket.

Rick Ross has consented to offer a wheelchair-accessible shuttle service that provides round-trip transportation to ticket holders to designated disabled areas in response to the complaint. John Hoover, Straughter’s lawyer, was grateful at the outcome, saying, “The upcoming Rick Ross Car & Bike Show will be so wheelchair accessible that even golf carts will be provided to wheelchair users thanks to Darris Straughter and the other wheelchair users who came forward.” Additionally, Hoover said, “This is a significant development in the ongoing litigation.” The defendants still deny any wrongdoing, but they wouldn’t have to fix it if it weren’t broken.

Ross hasn’t made any public remarks about the event, but Straughter is still pursuing damages. His mansion, “Promise Land,” in Fayetteville, Georgia, will host the next automobile and bike event on June 7.
