Ye attributes his disagreement with Ty Dolla $ign to record labels
“I know they on your head, but n**ga you ain’t got to denounce me.”
One of the repercussions of the rapper formerly known as Kanye West’s recent tirades has been the apparent breakup of the friendship between Ye and Ty Dolla $ign.
In an interview with DJ Akademiks, the College Dropout emcee, dressed in black KKK garb, criticized a number of celebrities, including his Vultures colleague and his reaction to Ye’s well-known antisemitic tirades.
Before we touched down, Ty posted the tweet. “I have to show you something,” he said. “Say I’m not racist, but Ye is,” I said. That’s what we decided.
The Chicago-born musician recalls, “He posted [a tweet] saying, ‘I don’t condone hate speech,’ when we landed.”
“You’re allowing these n***as to put words in your mouth,” they added. I 100xed and 137xed his career, and you posted word-for-word Jewish jargon while I’m flying. I think we can sit down and discuss it. You don’t have to condemn me, even if I know they’re on your head. For a period. And if you do, you discuss with me how we will proceed.
Without specifically naming Ye, Ty used social media in February to voice his disapproval of the latter’s behavior.
He allegedly posted on his Instagram Stories, saying, “I do not condone ANY form of hate speech towards ANYBODY.” The remark followed Ye’s tweet about being a Nazi and adoring Hitler, even if it didn’t mention West.
In addition, West stated that he would “never apologise for my Jewish remarks,” adding, “I can say whatever the f**k I wanna say forever.” My f**king apologies for freezing my accounts is nowhere to be seen.
