Mo’Nique Attacks Tyler Perry Once More, Claiming Madea Is A “Better Human”

She also reiterates her allegation that the director was the cause of her 12-year ban.

Mo’Nique returns with another vehement outburst against Tyler Perry, just when you thought she was done venting her frustrations.

The Deliverance actress revealed in an interview with Rodney “Red” Grant that although she and her husband adore Tyler Perry, she believes his Madea character is a “far better human being” than the man is in his true form.

According to Mo’Nique, “Madea is a far better human being because he drops it off to Tyler Perry once he returns to the principles and values that she stands on.”

In her open letter from a few weeks ago, she referred to Perry as a “hypocrite” for his remarks at Angie Stone’s funeral compared to his treatment of her.

The 57-year-old started by saying, “Angie Stone was a warrior.” “Watching that man up there act hypocritically toward my sister while Stone was a fighter, baby? No, sir. I know my sister would have done the same dreadful thing if it had been the other way around, so you can’t do that. Being a wolf in sheep’s clothing is something you will not do. Tyler Perry, I won’t let that happen.

She pointed out his good deeds, hinting that he only does them for attention. Mo’Nique slyly remarked, “He does [do’such nice things for people’], but he gon’ make sure you damn well know about it.” “Your actions should be between you and the universe when they come from your heart.”

Speaking about being “difficult to work with,” the Parkers star said, “I’m not difficult to work with.” I simply won’t tolerate any more stupidity, and I won’t allow you to treat anyone badly.

She is certain that Perry was the source of “the misconception” that she was difficult to work with, which resulted in her being ostensibly banned for more than ten years. “I’m not trying to make it look fancy.

People ran with that brother’s statement, “Oh, she’s difficult to work with,” but I’m too damn grown to be afraid to say it aloud. It had a 12-year impact on my career […]. To put it simply, no one who has worked with me has ever commented, “Oh my God, she’s difficult to work with.” Furthermore, I have never collaborated with Tyler Perry a**! So, sort that out.
