
Sean Kingston was found guilty of fraud, as was his mother
Rapper sobs in court and begs authorities to “protect my mother.”

As the jury returned its judgment, Kingston, 35, whose true name is Kisean Anderson, got extremely distraught and cried out, “Protect my mother,” as authorities brought Turner into custody.
The charges carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in jail for each of them, according to the prosecution.
Sean and his mother are charged with scamming a TV installation firm, a car dealership, and jewelers.
This conviction comes after a history of legal issues and a series of incidents that are comparable, such as a conviction for bank fraud in 2006.
Following a police raid on his home in California in May 2024, the musician and his mother were taken into custody. The singer consented to be extradited to Florida at the end of May 2024.
The rapper, who had given up his right to contest the extradition, was given a $100,000 bond by a Florida judge in June of that year.
Kingston was on probation at the time of his arrest for allegedly trafficking stolen stuff.
Before he and his mother were taken into custody last month, Mr. Kingston, a singer from Jamaica who is well-known for songs like “Beautiful Girls,” “Fire Burning,” and “Eenie Meenie,” posted a statement on his Instagram account.

In 2025, shortly after he and his mother were convicted of fraud, he posted a photo of her on Instagram, telling her how much he loved her and promising that everything would be alright.

“God thanks for waking me up so I can celebrate another year, thanks to my family especially my sisters , my children and my friends for making my birthday so special love you guys loads,” she said.
In addition, she received affection from her son, who wrote, “Best Mother ever created in my heart and eyes.”
