Kim Kardashian Makes a Significant Advancement in Her Legal Career

Every day, Kim Kardashian’s desire of becoming an attorney becomes clearer!

In order to be able to practice law in the United States as a duly certified attorney, the jail reform advocate has completed one more exam.

Kim Kardashian began her criminal justice reform journey in 2017 after learning about Alice Marie Johnson’s case. She accomplished a noteworthy milestone by passing the infant bar exam in December 2021.

Like all other students, Kim Kardashian took the test.

Kim took the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE), a crucial exam that focuses on professional conduct and legal ethics, on Wednesday, March 27.

The MPRE is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to become a member of the bar, even though it is not included in the bar exam. Kim reportedly took the test at a testing facility in Alhambra, California, according to sources.

This showed that, like any ambitious lawyer, she was dedicated to pursue her legal goals. Since visitors were not permitted inside the testing facility, Kim’s bodyguard had to wait for her outside.

Even though Kim isn’t yet an attorney, that doesn’t stop her from leading the charge for criminal justice reform. The businesswoman effectively pushed for Alice Marie Johnson’s clemency and supported other prisoners, according to TMZ.

Two times, the mother-of-four failed her baby bar exam.

At the beginning, Kim’s ambition to become like her father, Robert Kardashian, encountered some challenges.

In the 2023 season finale of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Kim talked about her difficulties with the bar test, according to The Blast. The reality personality disclosed that failing the test will prevent her from obtaining a California law license. 

In the episode, she also talked to her lawyers, Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney, who helped her study for the test after she found out she had failed on her second try. She had failed the test several months prior, so this was really disappointing.

Kim’s second test score was lower than her first. She disclosed that her second exam score of 463 was little lower than her first exam score of 474. A passing score is 560 to put things in perspective. 

With her passion for criminal justice reform, the founder of SKIMS hoped to make a difference. 

Kim stated her dedication to criminal justice reform at the 2023 TIME 100 Summit, highlighting her wish to make it the main emphasis of her professional life.

According to The Blast, Kim expressed her thoughts about possibly removing herself from the limelight, saying that she would be happy working as a lawyer full-time.

The billionaire considered how her knowledge of society concerns has been greatly expanded by her work in criminal justice. She mentioned that she and her sister, Khloé Kardashian, had an eye-opening experience when they visited a prison.

Kim hopes that her work in the criminal justice reform field will be her most significant contribution to humanity, despite the fact that she is not yet a registered attorney.

She jokingly told her management and mother that she might “retire” Kim K. to pursue a full-time legal profession in her interview with moderator Poppy Harlow.

After more than two decades in prison, the Hulu star secured Alice’s release.

Eight years ago, Kim became interested in criminal justice reform after hearing Alice’s moving tale. Due to her role in enabling contacts in a narcotics trafficking case, Alice has been incarcerated since 1996. 

She hoped that then-President Obama would grant her clemency in 2016, but she was not one of the 231 people who were eventually pardoned.

After learning about Alice’s predicament from a Mic video report, the reality star retweeted the video with the comment, “This is so unfair,” and started urging Alice’s pardon.

When Alice was freed from prison in August 2020, Kim and Alice finally had luck on their side. Kim persisted in her attempts to assist other people who had been unfairly convicted.

One of these cases had a parent who was imprisoned following his daughter’s death in the horrific elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas.

At last, Kim Kardashian aced her baby bar exam.

In May 2019, Kim declared her desire to become a lawyer, citing her late father’s well-known representation of O.J. Simpson during the 1995 murder trial as inspiration. 

She ultimately passed the first-year law students’ test in December 2021 after two years of arduous study.

The 42-year-old acknowledged the difficulties she encountered during her time in law school and celebrated her accomplishment on social media.

Prominent legal experts cautioned her about the infant bar’s poor pass rate, describing it as an almost difficult task, but the reality star took satisfaction in herself.
