Tudor, the new manager of Juventus, describes a tactical change

Igor Tudor, the recently hired manager of Juventus, stressed the urgent necessity for quick tactical adjustments to revitalize the team’s performances during his first press conference on Thursday.

After Thiago Motta was fired on Sunday after two straight crushing losses in a disastrous season that saw the Turin club finish fifth in Serie A, one point outside the top four, the former Croatia center-back was named manager of Juventus.

Tudor, 46, is aware that he is under pressure to improve, beginning on Saturday when he plays mid-table Genoa at home.

“With a lot of new players, we’ve started down a path of change, which might have hampered the team’s growth. But you have to win and develop fast when you’re at Juventus,” he told reporters.

“We must improve everything and infuse it with a feeling of lightness. At the same time, we must contribute from a tactical standpoint. However, we must move quickly.

The former Juventus player went on to say that he preferred a balanced offensive squad.

“There is nothing we can give up on. I want everyone to enjoy themselves. I’m constantly hoping to score another goal. Tudor stated, “I enjoy attacking with a lot of players, but I also don’t want to give up goals.”

“The task needs to be finished. Balance must be maintained while football moves in a way that makes it even more engaging.

He went on to say that it will take some time to realize his vision for the club.

“My Juventus cannot be compared to others. I carry out my duties. I want to demonstrate the spirit that should always be present on Saturday. It will take two to three weeks from a tactical perspective,” he stated.

“Everyone must accept accountability. (Manuel) Locatelli will continue as captain. He possesses the necessary skills to serve as captain.
