Khaligraph Jones: The Reason I Constructed Such a Huge Home

The rapper claims that he has yet to complete the construction of his house.

Additionally, the home has opened up new avenues for him; simply because of the house, he has secured several new brand partnerships.

Khaligraph Jones, a prominent figure in Kenyan rap, recently made an uncommon appearance on Mic Cheque, a podcast hosted by Chaxy, Mariah, and Mwas.

The rapper hadn’t given interviews in the previous two and a half years, so this was a unique episode. However, due to his personal friendship with the hosts, this highly awaited conversation ultimately took place.

His opulent residence, which left many in awe of its size and distinctive characteristics, has been one of the main topics of discussion surrounding Khaligraph in recent years.

Chaxy, of course, raised the subject, laying the groundwork for a thought-provoking conversation.

“I moved in, and I tried to be as transparent as possible because I wanted to show people that this thing is possible,” Khaligraph said.

The rapper’s move into his new residence immediately garnered media attention, as both admirers and detractors responded to the enormous home.

Despite the buzz, Khaligraph admitted that he found some of the memes about his mansion hilarious, showing that he takes it all in stride.

Khaligraph views his home as a representation of longevity and success in the music business, in addition to being a significant personal achievement.

“All I was attempting to do was alter the idea that artists come and go. People can tell you mean business when you have a crib like that, and it gives you longevity,” he remarked.

It’s interesting to see that the mansion has given him additional business prospects. He disclosed that the recognition and respect that came with the residence helped him land several brand partnerships.

“When I walk into the area, they know that’s OG, and they respect me because of the crib.”

Why did Khaligraph decide to construct the mansion?

Khaligraph acknowledged Nigerian artist Rudeboy (Paul Okoye) as the source of inspiration for his opulent residence.

“We were invited to Rudeboy’s house while I was in Nigeria for a music video shoot in Lagos. I was in awe when I saw it. Even though I was living in a wonderful place at the time, I knew exactly what I wanted after seeing the crib.

Khaligraph playfully acknowledged that, because of the exorbitant costs involved, the house is still a work in progress even though the majority of it has been completed.

“Due to the costs, I haven’t completed the building yet. There are issues with even curtains! To cover some areas, they must be enormous, and that has a price.
