Over 46,000 Cybertrucks Are Recalled by Tesla Because to Loose Exterior Panels

A Huge Recall Affects Almost All Cybertrucks Made Thus far.

Due to a detachable exterior panel, Tesla is recalling 46,096 Cybertrucks in the United States, which raises safety concerns for other vehicles and drivers. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) states that if the panel comes free while driving, there is a chance of an accident.

The great majority of Tesla’s futuristic pickups may be affected by the recall, which applies to practically all Cybertrucks manufactured up until February. Analysts estimate that the majority of cars currently on the road are impacted by this recall because Tesla does not disclose Cybertruck sales figures.

This recall presents yet another difficulty for Tesla, which has already seen its stock value drop by about half in 2024 as a result of heightened competition, an aging lineup, and criticism of CEO Elon Musk’s political involvement—specifically, his influence over federal budget cuts under Trump’s presidency.

At its service centers, Tesla will provide a free replacement of the defective trim assembly. To find out if their car is covered by the recall, owners can check their VIN on the NHTSA website or get in touch with Tesla directly.
