Congratulations, Coretta and Kang! Four months after declaring their engagement, Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good tie the knot

Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors deserve congratulations! In a private ceremony conducted by Majors’ mother, the pair quietly exchanged vows on Tuesday, just four months after declaring their engagement.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the pair married in front of their mothers at a “small private wedding” that took place at their Los Angeles home. According to ET, Good’s mother served as the witness while Majors’ mother, a preacher, served as the officiant.

Along with the couple, the two mothers went to a private screening of Majors’ most recent movie, Magazine Dreams, in Los Angeles on Monday.

Majors revealed that he was married during an appearance with Entertainment Tonight. He told interviewer Kevin Frazier that Meagan is “his girl, his wife” before correcting himself and saying, “my fianceé.”

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good got married just one day after his most recent scandal.

Majors confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari on previously found audio that Rolling Stone published on Monday. The source claims that the exchange was acquired following a days-long altercation between Majors and his ex in September 2022. The actor from Creed III apparently lost his temper while filming the second season of the Disney+ series Loki in London, where he lived with Jabbari.

Jabbari filed a civil case last April, which has since been settled, alleging that Majors strangled her, dragged her back into their house, and smashed her into a car.

In the days that followed the alleged attack, Jabbari questioned Majors about it and acknowledged that he “aggressed her,” according to the audio recording.

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have been together since 2023.

At the EBONY Power 100 Gala in November 2024, Good, 43, and Majors, 35, announced their engagement after initially igniting romance rumors in May 2023.

Good claims that she offered him positive feedback about his work when they first met two years ago at an event in a unisex restroom. Following their relationship’s public disclosure, Good stood by Majors during his criminal prosecution following his arrest in March 2023 for allegedly assaulting Grace Jabbari, who suffered a cut to the back of her ear and a fractured finger.

After being found guilty of third-degree assault and harassment in December 2023, the actor was mandated to finish a 52-week in-person domestic violence intervention program.

Looking back at their early connection, Good previously told PEOPLE that Majors first advised her against dating him.

She said, “He wanted to protect me.” Adversity is nothing new to Good, but she refused to back down. “First of all, my love, you’re dealing with a Black Leo,” I said. In addition, I was raised in this field. Regardless, the experiences I’ve had have given me the capacity to love others.
