Snoop Dogg is criticized by Suge Knight for “destroying” Death Row
“Instead of going big, you are disappointing the world by making everything flop.”
The feud between Suge Knight and Snoop Dogg will never end. The rapper from Long Beach, California was criticized by the former CEO of Death Row Records for “destroying” the cherished company.
In a recent interview with The Art Of Dialogue, the imprisoned businessman revealed everything. “You mentioned that I’m upset with you because you purchased Death Row, Snoop? What did you purchase? Present the documents to me. He said, “Show me what you own.” He described Snoop’s shortcomings while working for Def Jam, including how his Doggystyle label failed to gain traction.
“Did you help Def Jam in any way? “Definitely not,” he continued. “Now you want to get involved in something that isn’t related to you. You’re going in reverse. You’re attempting to make something that Suge Knight made. But by making everything fail, you are failing the world rather than reaching great heights. Before returning to Snoop, Suge expanded his criticisms to include the whole music industry, stating that “everyone is destroying Hip-Hop.” “You demolished Death Row, if you have it. You made a mistake with the name.
This is the most recent exchange between the two this year. Suge Knight stated last month that Snoop Dogg was implicated in Diddy’s alleged sex trafficking, that he lied about seeing Pac in the hospital before to his death, and that he attempted to liberate 2Pac’s killer Keefe D. In a response to the charges, Snoop said on Instagram that Suge’s true grievance is that he no longer owns Death Row Records.
Suge thinks Snoop’s ownership of Death Row is a hoax. In 2022, he informed TMZ that Michael “Harry-O” Harris, his former business partner, had committed bankruptcy fraud in order to buy the label from him. He even went so far as to say that Snoop only obtained the label by forfeit when a lawyer from Knight’s side did not show there. As a result, MNRK Music Group was granted ownership of the label in 2013 due to a default judgment.
Suge declared, “I settled the judgment.” They said, “I didn’t settle the judgment,” after turning around. However, we only learned of their bankruptcy fraud last week. They claimed that Death Row had nothing to do with their 1995 bankruptcy filing. Bankruptcy fraud, settlements, and other actions are prohibited. It is a felony and is prohibited.
