Zack Baun will reportedly sign a three-year, $51 million contract with the Eagles

Zack Baun, an All-Pro linebacker, is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles on a three-year contract worth $51 million, according to an ESPN report on Wednesday.

According to the article, $34 million is guaranteed at signing. Next week, Baun was scheduled to become a free agent.

In his debut season with the Eagles, 28-year-old Baun had a standout season, amassing 151 tackles, 3.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, and an interception in 16 games (all starts). He signed a one-year, $1.6 million contract to play in 2024.

In addition, Baun helped the Eagles win a Super Bowl with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries in four postseason starts.

After being chosen in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Baun spent just 14 of his four seasons with the New Orleans Saints as a starter. In 78 games over his career, he has 239 tackles.
