Cam Newton Addresses Nicole Martinez’s and Steve Smith Sr.’s Story
“‘She threw it, I caught it: I’m a [wide] receiver… you must ain’t seen my resume.'”
Finally, Cam Newton has shared his thoughts on the cheating controversy involving his former teammates. On Thursday, February 27, Newton published the most recent episode of his podcast, 4th&1 With Cam Newton, in which he took aim at Tony Martinez for using the internet to vent about his marital problems.
The former NFL player claimed, “I’m a keep it a big buck like I only know how to do: Steve Smith did you a favor, bro.” “What Steve Smith is going through, that’s what Steve Smith is going through, but he did you a favor in your home, dude. He was able to identify your true spouse. She doesn’t belong to you and isn’t devoted to you. Steve Smith fulfilled his obligations. “I’m a [wide] receiver… you must not have seen my resume,” she said, and I caught it.
Newton went on to say that Smith is not obligated to take care of another man’s household. Cam claimed that Nicole Martinez had broken the terms of their agreement and that it is the woman’s “duty to set the boundary.” The athlete went on to say that he needs Tony to “get your wife in order” because maintaining order and maintaining a stranglehold over their home is “in a man’s nature.” The 35-year-old called out people who are upset about adultery but don’t care about breaking any of the other Ten Commandments as he concluded his tirade on the subject.
Steve Smith Sr. was embroiled in a cheating scandal, in case you missed it. A man named Tony Martinez took to social media in the middle of February to accuse the former Carolina Panthers star of having an affair with his wife, Nicole Martinez.
Tony shared a video of him calling the athlete and berating him for his behavior, along with a series of sexually suggestive texts between Nicole and Steve. In the video, Martinez responded, “Yeah, you been f**king my wife, bro.” “What do you have to say about yourself?” After a Smith-like voice muttered “sorry,” Tony insisted that the NFL commentator “man up.”
Neither Smith nor Mrs. Martinez have spoken out about the experience or discussed the issue.
