Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City: Kevin De Bruyne must make a decision regarding his future

Kevin De Bruyne’s role is changing under Pep Guardiola, despite his stellar record at Manchester City, where he amassed 105 goals and 173 assists.

The Belgian playmaker, whose contract expires in June, has apparently embraced this new role and is now used more as a rotation player. He has stated his intention to sign a contract extension, nevertheless, and is still committed to continuing his journey with the Skyblues.

The Daily Mirror claims that although the soon-to-be 34-year-old is eager to stay, City must make a tough choice. Given his €2 million monthly compensation, the club’s management must assess if extending his contract is in line with their long-term goals. De Bruyne’s stay at City will probably involve financial changes to support the team’s long-term goals.
