“Content Creator” Arrested for Urinating on Food from a Grocery Store and Recording It for Social Media

Serious charges have been brought against a content creator from New Hampshire who reportedly used her urine to contaminate food at a nearby grocery shop while recording the incident for social media.

Kelli Tedford, 23, was taken into custody by Keene Police on Friday, February 21, following an anonymous tip that prompted them to look into some unsettling videos she had uploaded online. According to authorities, one of the videos captured her tainting food items at the Monadnock Food Co-Op. A felony criminal mischief charge has been brought against Tedford.

After informing the authorities, the Monadnock Food Co-Op promptly cleaned all surfaces, notified consumers who might have bought tainted products, and took the impacted products off the shelf. In a statement verifying the occurrence, the supermarket said that no prepared items, meat, seafood, fresh vegetables, or chilled goods were impacted. On the other hand, they have voluntarily recalled several dry items, such as organic red quinoa, organic oats, and raw walnuts, that were bought between February 10 and February 15.

Tedford might have committed similar crimes in the past, according to Keene Police. More footage, some from 2021, is being examined by investigators to determine whether she may have contaminated objects at other sites in Keene and the surrounding areas. Sanitation expenses and discarded goods cost the supermarket business more than $1,500.

The court date for Tedford’s appearance is April 7. He was freed on personal recognizance bail.
