Birdman Seems to Doze Off on Stage at the Hot Boys Reunion Tour Stop

B.G. and fans were both alarmed by music mogul Birdman’s recent performance with the Hot Boys.

In a widely shared video, the Cash Money Records co-founder was seen standing behind Turk during a live performance. Turk was rocking the microphone and appeared to be oblivious to the slumber going on behind him. As the show went on around him, Birdman stood up, still holding the microphone, his head lowered, as if he had fallen asleep.

The 56-year-old was awakened by B.G., who was just freed from prison and reunited with his group members, approaching the rap veteran to check on him and brushing his shirt. Birdman swiftly returned to the concert after B.G. and he had laughed about the incident.

The response from fans was a mixture of laughter and worry. Some, however, noted that Birdman might have just been reading lyrics that were splattered on the floor or lost in meditation, which is a typical technique among musicians.

The show went on smoothly despite the unexpected moment. The occasion came days after Lil Wayne was seen on another video cutting Birdman off in the middle of his stage statement.
