Kruyswijk leads the Kenya Open following the 64th round
South African Jacques Kruyswijk led by one stroke at 14 under par during the third round of the Kenya Open in Nairobi on Saturday after making seven birdies in a bogey-free 64.
John Parry of England, the overnight leader, only managed a one over par 72, while Kruyswijk, who started the day seven strokes down, is now one ahead.
Kruyswijk, who is vying for his first DP World Tour championship, stated, “I played a really good game plan around this golf course, I wasn’t over-aggressive, as you could see on the last couple,” despite the fact that it was quite windy out there today.
“Although it’s always wonderful to roll a couple in, I simply played extremely consistently, and I’ve had a terrific attitude all week. I’m prepared, but whatever happens tomorrow will happen.
