Roma, Ajax, and Fenerbahce make it to the Europa League round of 16

Ajax Amsterdam barely survived against Union Saint-Gilloise, while Fenerbahce advanced to the Europa League’s round of 16 with a 5-2 aggregate victory over Anderlecht after a 2-2 draw in Thursday’s second leg in Belgium due to chaos.

With a 2-0 victory over PAOK at home, Steaua Bucharest also advanced with a 4-1 aggregate win, while Bodo/Glimt of Norway maintained their incredible run with a 5-2 triumph over FC Twente in extra time to advance 6-4 overall.
