LaVar Ball reportedly had his right foot amputated because of health problems
According to “TMZ,” the creator of Big Baller Brand is “in good spirits.”
LaVar Ball had a “serious medical issue” that required life-altering surgery. According to TMZ, the father of LaMelo, LiAngelo, and Lonzo had his foot amputated on February 19.
The site reported that the founder of Big Baller Brand “is in great spirits and doing well” following the successful treatment that involved the removal of his right foot. There are currently no other information available regarding the procedure, and no family members have responded to the news.
The sportsman, who was born and reared in Los Angeles, spent his entire life playing football and basketball. In addition to playing for Cal State-Los Angeles, he also had stints with the Carolina Panthers and New York Jets.
The 57-year-old, who frequently made headlines for his audacious and self-assured statements about his three boys, is most recognized for being the patriarch of the Ball family. He discussed his reputation as a present father who “sacrificed so much” for his children in a prior Vlad TV interview, explaining that his choice to invest in his sons ultimately paid off.
People don’t realize that I’m not “giving up” anything. What sacrifices did I make? Not at all. He said, “I had these kids.” “Because I desired them.” Instead of purchasing real estate, I chose my wife and am spending millions of dollars on my sons. Three lottery tickets arrived. I haven’t yet cashed them in. My boys are all multimillionaires. View the entire interview below.
All three of his boys made it to the NBA and are now pursuing their basketball aspirations, thus his affirmations have finally come true. LaMelo plays for the Charlotte Hornets, and Lonzo is a point guard for the Chicago Bulls. After a brief time with the Detroit Pistons in late 2020, LiAngelo is now concentrating on his burgeoning rap career. His most recent single, “Tweaker,” was released in the beginning of 2025 and quickly gained popularity. It led to a remix with Lil Wayne and secured him a spot at All-Star weekend.
