Travis Scott is being sued for allegedly attacking a security guard; the representative calls the lawsuit “frivolous”

After an alleged attack by a security officer, Travis Scott filed a complaint; the representative calls it “FRIVOLOUS.”

A guy has filed a new lawsuit against Travis Scott, alleging that the rapper’s security officer severely beat him outside of a Manhattan venue. Travis’ team is denying the allegations.⁠ ⁠

Omar Muhanna claims he was hurt on August 17, 2024, when one of Travis’ security guards made severe physical contact with him close to a music venue where the rapper had played, according to court paperwork that TMZ was able to get.Muhanna maintains that he did nothing to incite the assault and asserts that as a result, he sustained severe and irreversible injuries. Travis was in Manhattan that day for FanaticsFest at the Javits Center, however the lawsuit does not say exactly where the event happened.

But according to Muhanna, the claimed attack took place just a few blocks away.⁠ ⁠

Travis Scott’s representative refuted the claims, saying TMZ that Travis was not there for the event and was inside a restaurant when the claimed attack occurred.⁠ ⁠

The complaint contends that Travis hired a security firm that hired the alleged guard, rather than accusing Travis of causing Muhanna any personal injury.
