Taylor Lautner, star of Twilight, will star in the Werewolf Hunter television series

The former “Twilight Saga” star will return to the brand in a special series that is presently in production at Amazon MGM Studios. He portrayed Jacob Black, a shapeshifter who transformed into a wolf, in the renowned movie series based on Stephanie Meyers’ vampire books.

In the midst of rescuing the world, resurrecting his profession, and falling in love, he must figure out what happens when his greatest role turns into his worst adversary.

Daisy Gardner is the creator and showrunner of the project, which has been brought to Amazon by independent company Tornante, which has produced shows including “Undone” and “BoJack Horseman.”

Taylor, who was 16 when the first movie came out in 2008 and 19 when he completed the finale “Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” has already said that the popularity he gained from “Twilight” caused him to stay inside the home for a spell in fear he was seen.
