Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, is sick of Vinicius rumors

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, stated on Friday that he wanted to concentrate on the player’s performance because he was sick of responding to inquiries regarding rumors that forward Vinicius Jr. was considering a move to Saudi Arabia.

According to sources who spoke to Reuters on Thursday, Vinicius is almost certain to sign a new deal with Real Madrid. However, the primary topic of discussion during the press conference held prior to Saturday’s La Liga match against Osasuna was once again a reported move to Saudi Arabia.

“So many inquiries. Am I sick of this subject? Indeed. Should I be concerned? No. Can I see that he’s happy? Ancelotti said to reporters, “Yes.”

“We are satisfied with him; I added whatever I needed to add a week or two ago. We don’t discuss this subject here, and he doesn’t either.

“In my opinion, he is still Vinicius, driven to do things well. He performed admirably in the most recent game.

Vinicius was named player of the match in the team’s most recent encounter, a 3-2 victory over Manchester City on the road on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League knockout round playoff.

A poster featuring City midfielder Rodri holding the Ballon d’Or trophy and the words “Stop crying your heart out” were directed at Vinicius since the Brazilian claimed he should have won the prize.

“I see him very motivated, especially because of what he has done in the game against City, where he had a lot of pressure and he has endured this pressure very well, making a difference in the game,” Ancelotti stated.

“Whether he has received an offer or not, I can tell you what I see here, a happy player who wants to do things well and make history with this club.”

Ancelotti wants to see his team maintain the form they shown against City after two league games without a victory. Real Madrid leads the standings, while Atletico Madrid is one point behind and Barcelona is another point behind.

“We are well motivated and it’s an opportunity to keep the lead, which is our goal,” added the supervisor.

“Obviously, the game will be challenging, but we performed well in the previous one, so I believe we need to prove it.

“It’s a game where we have to repeat all the good things we have done in the game against City.”
