Tresor Makes a Comeback With “Wale Wale,” Featuring Sofiya Nzau from Kenya

Multi-award-winning musician Tresor makes a comeback after three years with “Wale Wale,” which features Kenyan star Sofiya Nzau. 

Sofiya, best known for her vocals on the worldwide smash song “Mwaki,” adds soulful vitality to the song by fusing African house and pop into a freeing hymn of resiliency and optimism.

“This song is very personal—it’s about dreaming without boundaries,” Tresor explains. Working with Sofiya was like magic; her enthusiasm made the song better.

“Wale Wale,” which grew out of an inspirational studio session, showcases Tresor’s love of creating without boundaries. In keeping with his goal of promoting African creativity over the world, this release comes after the opening of his Sunset Recording Studios in Stellenbosch.

Sofiya Nzau’s voice captivates listeners around by fusing contemporary creativity with Kenya’s musical legacy. Tresor, whose Jacquel Entertainment Group has collaborated with Drake and Ed Sheeran, is advancing African music.
