Leonard Mambo Mbotela, the Radio Icon, Has Died

Anne Mbotela, her daughter-in-law, verified his death.

Alice Mwikali, a widow, and their three children, Aida, Jimmy, and George, are left behind by Mbotela.

Leonard Mambo Mbotela, a seasoned media personality, passed away. ‘Je Huu Ni Ungwana’ star Mbotela died on Friday at about 9:30 a.m.

Anne Mbotela, her daughter-in-law, verified his death. Alice Mwikali, a widow, and their three children, Aida, Jimmy, and George Mbotela, are left behind by the renowned host.

Created in 1966, “Je Huu Ni Ungwana” was covered for around 55 years.
