According to reports, Manchester United has contacted Bayern Munich about a possible loan agreement for Mathys Tel as they look at ways to bolster their striking squad. Tottenham Hotspur was first in the running to recruit the 19-year-old French forward, who has been linked to leaving the Bavarian powerhouses due to his lack of playing time.

According to reports, Tottenham and Bayern agreed on a €60 million (£50 million) transfer fee for Tel; however, talks have stalled, postponing a potential move to North London.
