Lamar Odom Explains How He Got Back Together With His Ex-Khloé Kardashian Nearly Ten Years After Their Divorce

Lamar Odom has shed further light on the circumstances behind his recent reconciliation with Khloé Kardashian.

The former NBA star made an unexpected appearance in the teaser for The Kardashians’ forthcoming sixth season. Fans were surprised to witness this reconnection and wondered how it happened given his tumultuous relationship with Khloé, whom he divorced in 2016.

Odom made a visit on the Kyle & Jackie O program over the weekend, where he explained how he ended up on the reality program.

According to E! News, Lamar said, “Me and Khloe have a mutual friend, her name is Malika [Haqq].” “I met her in Las Vegas.” It was Super Bowl weekend, I believe. “You know Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloe…it’s been years,” she remarked to me. If it’s okay with you, you haven’t seen her. I believe I could pull it off.

The former Los Angeles Laker acknowledged that he was shocked that the incident was captured on tape, even though he was open to a reunion.

The 45-year-old claimed that when he visited, there were cameras there. “I understand it, and it’s cool.”

Lamar denied that their reunion had anything to do with reigniting their romance, even though he openly expressed his desire for her after their breakup.

He told Jackie O. and Kyle Sandilands, “I wouldn’t say back together.” “Being her friend would be a blessing.”

“So much time has gone by,” he added. Additionally, humans evolve. Sometimes moving on is healthy, in my opinion. in a healthful manner. As I have stated, even being in her presence as a friend would be a blessing.

Only a month after they first met, Kardashian and Odom were married in 2009. Following years of accusations of infidelity, the reality star first filed for divorce in 2013, but the procedures were put on hold in 2015 following Lamar’s almost deadly drug overdose in a Nevada brothel. The couple ended their marriage in 2016 when he recovered.

On February 6, The Kardashians’ sixth season will debut on Hulu.
