APR has let go of Nigerian winger Godwin Odibo

APR FC has released Nigerian player Godwin Odibo after just six months with the team.

Odibo, 27, joined APR in July 2024 from Lagos FC but has not played much for the league winners.

This season, he only played a significant role in one match, where he spent 21 minutes on the field during a 1-0 loss to Azam United in the CAF Champions League on August 18, 2024, in Tanzania.

He and APR decided to end his two-year deal on January 20 because he wasn’t playing much and wasn’t performing well.

APR FC has signed Ugandan winger Denis Omedi to take his place.
