The Paris Saint-Germain move tempts Salah
Since Liverpool has not yet extended an offer to Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian player is reportedly considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain, one of the biggest teams in Ligue 1.
Clubs in Saudi Arabia and Europe are reportedly showing serious interest in Salah, who is in the final six months of his contract.
Salah and his group are apparently speaking with PSG behind the scenes, despite the fact that teams like Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, and Al-Hilal are reportedly interested in recruiting the 32-year-old in mega-money agreements.
As reported by Football365, “Paris Saint-Germain is one of the clubs that has resumed contacts with Salah, according to sources close to the player’s entourage.”
After the departure of important players like Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé, the Parisian squad, which has been following in the Egyptian’s footsteps for a number of years, sees him as the perfect replacement to spearhead its offensive effort.
Salah’s desire to keep control of his future is another factor in his choice to not extend [with Liverpool]. Although his contract with Liverpool expires in 2025, both sides may benefit from a leave next summer: the player would look for a new challenge, and the club would make sure he received a sizable financial payout before it was too late.
