James Rodriguez Finds a New Home After Moving From LA LIGA To Liga MX

The next stop for James Rodríguez has been confirmed. The Colombian playmaker has rejected recent rumors that he was interested at Banfield, Barranquilla, Boca Juniors, and Racing Club in favor of Club León in Mexico.

The 33-year-old has agreed to a one-year contract with a one-year option, according to TUDN.

After ending his contract with Rayo Vallecano, where he failed to establish himself, James is currently in Italy for the Kings League and is expected to complete his free move.

He only played 205 minutes this season under Iñigo Pérez, despite expectations of a great La Liga revival. James is now committed to getting back to his best physical form. He hopes to use this move to be ready for the 2026 World Cup and possibly revive his Liga MX career.
