Jose Chameleone reconnects with his son Abba Marcus following a public call-out

Chameleone was flown from Kampala to the US with the assistance of his family, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone has come together with his son Abba Marcus in a hospital in the United States. A few weeks ago, Abba utilized social media to address his father regarding his alcohol consumption and its purported negative impact on his health.

Chameleone was flown from Kampala to the US with the assistance of his family, where he is currently receiving treatment.

A viral video captures his son Abba providing care for him at the hospital.

Time has a way of mending wounds. Thank you to everyone who has kept me in their thoughts and prayers – Asante sana,” wrote Chameleone

In a separate post, he expressed gratitude to those who supported him during his time in the hospital. Thank you to everyone for taking the time to wish me a swift and healthy recovery. The doctors are putting forth their utmost effort, and I am also striving to do my best. @fredzink1 @weasel_manizo @abbamarcus @julietzawedde I truly appreciate your support and encouragement.
I appreciate you all.

Chameleone’s son speaks out against him

In a poignant TikTok video, Abba Marcus expressed his deep frustration regarding his father’s condition.

“My father has been dealing with alcohol addiction for some time, which explains the weight loss that others have been discussing.” It truly saddens me to witness the internet criticizing my mother, placing the blame on her for everything. I am here to inform you that this is entirely untrue. My mother is not involved in this at all.

Including “I have never encountered parents who are so indifferent to their children’s well-being.” I am referring to my father’s parents in this instance. To date, I have lost two uncles due to utter irresponsibility. To be honest, I prefer not to be referred to as their grandchild since I wish to have no connection with them. “If it weren’t for my father, nobody would know who the Mayanjas were,”

He encouraged his fans to unite in order to provide his father with the assistance he required.

“I am quite upset with my father because I believe he makes self-centered choices.” I have four siblings, and he must remain alive to look after them. He has repeatedly been advised that this is a habit that must be moderated for him to enjoy a longer life. It saddens me that he still opted to drink and damage his pancreas, even with this knowledge,” he said.
