Tupac Shakur Case: Keefe D Files Motion to Dismiss Charges

Keefe D is not relinquishing his pursuit. He has filed a motion to dismiss all charges related to Tupac Shakur’s assassination, as the $750,000 bond is beyond his financial means.

Carl E.G. Arnold, Keefe’s attorney, contends that the case has been protracted for an excessive amount of time, which has undermined his prospects for a fair trial.

Arnold stated, “The unjustified delay is resulting in the loss or destruction of material physical evidence, the death or disappearance of witnesses, and the dimming of memories.”

Arnold also noted that authorities continue to depend on obsolete information from 2009. He asserts that Keefe D’s rights have been violated and that the case is “irreversibly ineffective.” The motion also references a purported 2008 proffer agreement in which Keefe D allegedly cooperated with a federal task force in exchange for immunity.

Keefe D acknowledged that he was in the white Cadillac that was involved in the shooting and that he had passed the pistol to the individual in the backseat, as per the agreement.

Keefe D and his legal team are making a concerted effort to secure this dismissal, despite their previous unsuccessful endeavors.
Judge Carli Kierny will hear their arguments during his subsequent court appearance on January 21.
