After a 3–14 season, the Browns reportedly fired OC Ken Dorsey

Multiple publications reported on Sunday that the Cleveland Browns terminated Ken Dorsey, their second offensive coordinator in as many seasons.

According to reports, Andy Dickerson, the offensive line coach, was also terminated.

The Brows concluded their season on Saturday with a 35-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, resulting in a record of 3-14. An NFL-low 15.2 points per game was achieved by their offense, which was impeded by the rotation of quarterbacks and another season-ending injury to running back Nick Chubb.

Cleveland will conclude the NFL season with a total of 258 points, which is less than half of the points scored by the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions.

Kevin Stefanski, the Browns’ head coach, is anticipated to be retained, according to NFL Network. Stefanski has a 40-44 record in five seasons.

Dorsey, 43, has been terminated for the second consecutive season. He was terminated by the Buffalo Bills ten games into the 2023 season due to the belief that the Josh Allen-led offense was underperforming.

In Cleveland, Dorsey succeeded Alex Van Pelt, who was terminated only days after the Browns were humiliated 45-14 by the Houston Texans in the wild-card round of the postseason on January 13. In terms of points per game, the Van Pelt offense was ranked 10th in the NFL at 23.3.

Dorsey was anticipated to elevate quarterback Deshaun Watson to the next level; however, the Browns were 1-6 when Watson sustained a severed Achilles resulting in his season-ending injury. Bailey Zappe made his first start of the season in the loss on Saturday, while veteran Jameis Winston and second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson assumed the position.
