Known for his part in the famous Osmond family, Wayne Osmond died at the age of 73.
When Andy Williams’ father discovered the Osmonds performing at Disneyland, their career took off. Merrill Osmond provided additional information, stating that his brother had a “massive stroke.” He was thankful that he could be present to say his last goodbyes and recalled racing to the hospital when he heard the news.
Merrill wrote in his article, “My brother was a saint before he came into this world, and he will leave as an even greater saint than he came in.” “While some people will be saddened by his departure from this world, there will be an enormous celebration beyond our wildest expectations for those who are waiting for him on the other side.”
Wayne received a brain tumor diagnosis in 1997, and it was successfully treated. But because of a hearing issue, he eventually gave up playing music.
