Rashford Dispels Long-Rumors of Trafford Leaving
Rumors that the unsettled Manchester United player wants to quit Old Trafford and find a new agent are “ridiculous,” according to Marcus Rashford.
Rashford, an attacker for England, spoke with a leading sports agency this week in an attempt to set up a transfer, according to a story.
The 27-year-old hinted last month that he would be prepared to leave United.
Rashford said that after falling out of favor with new manager Ruben Amorim, he was ready “for a new challenge.”
The United youth academy graduate has only managed four Premier League goals this season and has struggled greatly over the past two seasons. Last month, he was left out of four consecutive matchday squads, starting with the derby against Manchester City and ending up as an unutilized substitute for Monday’s loss to Newcastle.
Rashford, who is now represented by his brother Dwaine Maynard, said he hasn’t switched agents in response to the latest speculation over his future.
“There have been a lot of untrue rumors in the last few weeks, but this is getting out of hand, guys. I have never met with any agencies, and I have no plans to. On Instagram, he posted.
