Anthony Joshua Signs a Glove for the President of Nigeria

During his visit to President Bola Tinubu’s residence in Lagos, renowned boxer Anthony Joshua presented him with an autographed glove.

Through his X handle, Dada Olusegun, the President’s Special Advisor on Social Media, revealed the information.

“To the Great Asiwaju Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu” is inscribed on the glove.

This gift came after Joshua was chosen by Governor Dapo Abiodun to serve as Ogun State’s sports ambassador.

The appointment was made on Monday during a courtesy call at the Government House in Abeokuta.

Joshua’s mother is Nigerian, and his father is of Nigerian and Irish descent.

He has Nigerian descent through his Yoruba heritage.
