A Proud Mother La La Is Getting “Syracuse-Geared Out” Gameday Fits To Help Her Son Kiyan

One of the most well-known basketball spouses, La La Anthony, is now prepared to be a college gameday mom!

The host and actress is already considering how she will help her son, Kiyan, who she has with NBA star Carmelo Anthony, when he puts on his sneakers to play at Syracuse University, his father’s alma mater, in the fall. As he attempts to lead the team back to its national championship glory, all eyes will be on the top basketball prospect. In the stands, however, fans will also be observing La La.

“Although I haven’t experienced [the ‘fits] yet,” she stated, “I anticipate becoming that mom who is, like, Syracuse-prepared out.” Definitely.

She also promises to support Kiyan by bringing some famous pals along.

She said, “You know we’re going in there.” “We will definitely enter there.”

In an emotional episode of Carmelo’s podcast, 7pm in Brooklyn, which also included La La, Kiyan discussed his choice to commit to Syracuse back in November.

As the 17-year-old guard explained his strategy to carve out his own route at the historic program, the delighted parents grinned.

Kiyan explained, “I was just looking at Syracuse and seeing, like, what could be done over there if I was to go over there.” “I’m close with some of the top folks they already have coming in. I’m able to connect with young coaching staff. A 45-minute flight near home. They would have me fly to California for six hours. After all of that, they play Duke, Carolina, in the ACC. They perform at all the prestigious schools. All of that contributes to my decision to attend Syracuse.

Since Syracuse has only won one national title due to Melo, a lot is relying on Kiyan to continue his legendary father’s legacy.
