Joshua Jackson is accused by Jodie Turner-Smith of not paying child support

Jodie Turner-Smith has asserted that Joshua Jackson has not paid her child support.

The “After Yang” actress and the “Dawson’s Creek” star parted ways in October 2023, and in recent court filings, she demanded payment from him, alleging that he has not given her any of the $8,543 monthly payments for their four-year-old daughter Juno or her $28,641 monthly spousal support that was allegedly due while their divorce case is still pending.

Jodie said in documents TMZ was able to obtain that she has been making an effort to keep their separation peaceful but that her estranged husband has been prolonging the process, unnecessarily raising her legal expenses, and making it impossible for her to support their daughter without his financial support.

During their four years of marriage, the 38-year-old celebrity pointed out that Joshua had earned a lot more money than she had, and she said the “Affair” actor had “reneged on [a] promise” he had made to her.

She wrote: “[Joshua] assured me that he understood how hard life can be as a Black woman and a single mother, and he promised to always support me, so I wouldn’t have to worry about our daughter’s financial security if we ever separated.”

In her latest legal request, the “Queen and Slim” star accused the 46-year-old actor of attempting to persuade her to accept a settlement that is less than what she believes she is entitled to. She also requests a court order requiring Joshua to pay $250,000 for her legal fees and forensic accounting expenses.

Jodie has acknowledged that co-parenting in the spotlight is difficult.

She stated on “Entertainment Tonight”: “You must simply consider your children.

Every action you take while parenting in the spotlight eventually becomes documented. It’s not what you want your children to read or think about.

She went on to say that the key to co-parenting is simply to put the kids first. That’s all you can do. Even though no one is perfect, you can be sure that you will give it your all when you are focused on the correct thing.
