“Winning Starts With Our Fans,” said the owner of the Phoenix Suns, announcing a new $2 value menu for all home games

Mat Ishbia, owner of the Phoenix Suns, is taking action to improve the Footprint Center fan experience by adding concessions with reduced prices. On Wednesday, Ishbia revealed the updated menu, stating that popcorn and hot dogs will now cost $2 at all Suns home games.

“Our supporters are the first step towards victory,” Ishbia posted on X (previously Twitter). When I stroll across the concourse during games, I don’t see any affordable food alternatives for families. In order to address that, we are launching our $2 value menu for all Suns home games today.

Ishbia said that there were observable variations among the modifications. A family of four used to spend an average of $98 on hot dogs, popcorn, and water. But now that the price has changed, that identical order will cost $24.

“What we do is built on the foundation of our community and fans,” Ishbia continued. “On and off the court, we will keep investing to make this the greatest organization in basketball.”

The unveiling of Ishbia was greeted with enthusiasm, particularly given the sharp rise in prices. In response to Ishbia’s article, one X user wrote, “Wow, this is so amazing. Please, Mat, would you urge other owners to follow suit? Restore affordability in sports. Families should be able to attend games without going broke.

Suns head coach Mike Budenholzer always praised his statement, and he even joked that he agreed with it.

“In my opinion, it’s fantastic,” Budenholzer wrote. “The fans will get more value. In this instance, 2s are good, but I might ask Mat [Ishbia] why it’s not $3 so we can shoot more 3s.
