McGregor claims that he and Logan Paul have reached a preliminary deal

Conor McGregor, the former UFC champion, said on social media on Tuesday that he and American social media influencer-turned-fighter Logan Paul had struck an initial agreement to engage in an exhibition boxing contest. McGregor is an Irish mixed martial arts fighter.

The fight would take place in India, but McGregor did not say when it may happen. McGregor was sentenced to pay damages last month after a jury in a civil hearing at Ireland’s High Court ruled he assaulted a lady in 2018.

“I have tentative agreements with the Ambani family to compete against Logan Paul in an Indian boxing show. On X, McGregor wrote, “I have agreed.”

“I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”

Paul hasn’t fought much, but his younger brother Jake, 27, took on 58-year-old former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a widely watched fight that put a burden on Netflix’s servers.

In an exhibition bout three years ago, the 29-year-old American outlasted eight rounds against Floyd Mayweather, a retired five-division champion who is eighteen years his senior.
