Tinubu pledges to cement the alliance between Germany and Nigeria
President Tinubu has stressed the need of developing a more robust and fruitful connection between Germany and Nigeria in a bilateral meeting held in Abuja.
The dedication of his government to promoting a more robust and fruitful collaboration between Nigeria and Germany has been emphasized by President Bola Tinubu.
The President stressed the value of establishing strong, mutually beneficial ties with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier during a bilateral meeting on Wednesday at the State House in Abuja.
Nigeria’s openness to international commercial collaborations was emphasized by President Tinubu, who also gave his assurance that current economic changes were intended to foster an atmosphere that would attract foreign investment.
He cited similar encounters earlier in the day as proof that German and Nigerian business leaders and officials are prepared to expand their cooperation.
President Tinubu also emphasized the initiatives his administration is taking to improve corporate rankings and establish frameworks for shared prosperity.
He was upbeat about increasing interpersonal links as well as government-level support for economic chances.
President Tinubu remarked, “It was a very good bilateral discussion,” during a joint news conference following the bilateral sessions.
Our businesspeople and policymakers are eager to conduct business with Germany, as I could see from the prior meeting and the earlier meeting today.
“My job is to keep assuring you that our business doors are open and that the changes are going really well. We have spoken about the rating of these businesses.
“We intend to fortify the relationship and establish a partnership that is fruitful and satisfying for both nations, fostering people-to-people connections and government-to-government opportunity and prosperity facilitation,” the president stated.
President Steinmeier praised the continuous economic improvements in Nigeria and praised the tenacity of the people and the leadership of President Tinubu.
In addition to pledging support for the Nigerian government to further enhance the country’s economy and mitigate the consequences of the economic issues facing the country, the German president spoke in both German and English.
President Steinmeier cited the German experience during the previous economic crisis and noted that bravery and tenacity are key factors in achieving economic reform in any country worldwide.
He said: “It is not easy; there was a severe economic crisis in Germany many years ago. You need a lot of courage and perseverance that would be to the benefit of your country.”
“I will stand behind you, and all of us in German politics are watching your brave actions.
Additionally, the German president stated, “Germany will support you on the ongoing reforms in Nigeria.”
