Diamond Platnumz Reacts to Willy Paul Following the Drama in Furaha City
Willy Paul, according to Diamond, is leveraging his name to influence the way his WCB signee Zuchu performed.
Diamond claimed Willy Paul was clout-chasing on social media.
“I can state that the organizers supplied everything, but in reality, they showed no discrimination against Kenyan artists at yesterday’s performance.Kina @khaligraph_jones and other artists performed their shows with great skill, and they consumed a lot of food. The truth is that the boy had to create Kiki Specially involving “Diamond” in order to gain trends, and as we all know, he has been attempting to do so on social media for some time.
“He thought yesterday that this might be his golden chance, so he tried to make it seem like he is being bullied or oppressed in order to gain sympathy from the public. That’s why he doesn’t name anyone; in every sentence, he refers to Diamond as though I were the event organizer4… I’m losing it. In actuality, though, they are all falsehoods! My official statement detailing everything that transpired up until the day of my performance will be posted tomorrow.
Eric Omondi, a Kenyan comedian who is now an activist, was previously reprimanded by Diamond Platnumz.
This came after Eric criticized the performer for not showing up for the highly anticipated Kenyan Furaha Festival.
“It might take some time, but it will undoubtedly happen. Halali Mungu. We relentlessly campaigned for Kenyan musicians and artists for two years. “Just Plant, You will Harvest Later” is the one principle I really believe in. We were arrested and subjected to tear gas for advocating for fair treatment and compensation for Kenyan artists.
Eric then listed a few of their requests.
We have straightforward demands:
- Equal treatment: A Kenyan artist husimama kando ya Stage ama nyuma ya Tent, while a Kenyan artist hawananga V.I.P. Tents backstage while wengine huwekewa White Sofa setups, Black Tea, White Tea, Pombe Brands Zote, Polisi, and Bouncers. I have seen Kenyan artists repeatedly pleading with security at the door to let their team (managers and dancers) into the arena, while our international brothers and sisters arrive in motorcades of up to fifteen cars 😰😰😰. One thing is certain despite all that is happening in Kenya right now: a lot is going to change. WE’LL HARVEST! OUR TIME IS GETTING CLOSE!
Additionally, he stated that there is no animosity between the two nations, using Bien’s collaborations with Tanzanian artists as an example.
“My brother Eric, To succeed, you must put in more work and then God will bless you. Hatred of others does not lead to success. You are one of the best examples in this respect; you have performed as the main act in Tanzania more than ten times and have always been welcomed. You had never heard of stand-up comedians saying things like “They are oppressed” or “We want 75% Tanzanian Comedians” or heard them incite hatred within you.
He went on to add
They arrived to evaluate what they regarded as necessary, and they succeeded. They put in a lot of effort, and ChekaTu was established. People Remain with Various Standup Comedy Platforms generated a lot of standup comedians, and they are now reaping the rewards of their labor. Bien arrived in Tanzania just now, and he was warmly welcomed by the locals, who also worked with a variety of artists. Diamond went on to add that Eric ought to be urging artists to love one another. “East Africa is a country that lives by love and cooperation, try to inspire love and cooperation and put effort, instead of training artists to hate us because it is not the solution to success.” Although Diamond claims that Pozze is pursuing influence, he has also taken advantage of the limelight to produce a new song called “Holiday.”
