Mariah Carey wants to spend Christmas as a “friend to everyone”

Mariah Carey wants to spend the holiday season being a “friend for anyone who needs one.”

All I Want For Christmas Is You, the 55-year-old star’s most well-known tune, is heavily played in December, and she is “very grateful” to be a vital component of so many people’s holiday experiences.

“No matter what is happening in their lives, I just do my hardest to make them feel joyful and festive.

“I consider myself to be a friend to anyone who needs one during the holiday season.”
The “Hero” hitmaker and her 13-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, spend Christmas in Aspen. As part of their holiday customs, they always make sure to go outside in the snow.

She clarified: “Every year, we snap Polaroid photos of one another outside in the snow and place them on the little tree we have below. It is adorable.

“We always do a few things like that.”

Mariah said that while she has “assistance” in organizing her celebrations, she also participates.

“I can’t lie, I do have help, but I do some [of the prep],” she remarked. My decorators assist me with the trees and other items at our Aspen house.

“I prefer to go in there and help out with part of the Christmas meal preparation, but I have others that assist.

“I enjoy making my own mashed potatoes.”

According to the “Fantasy” singer, Christmas gifts don’t matter to her.

According to her, the song seems to be saying, “I don’t care about the presents below the Christmas tree. For me, Christmas is more about the spirit of the season than the gifts.

“This time of year has always held such a deep emotional significance for me.

“Everyone having the best Christmas ever has always been my goal. I still do. That’s the reason it’s such a great moment for me.
