Khris Middleton of the Bucks will make his season debut on Friday
Khris Middleton of the Milwaukee Bucks will make his season debut on Friday night in Boston, his agency told ESPN on Thursday.
Following his medical clearance to return last month, the three-time All-Star has been increasing his activity after undergoing offseason surgery on both of his ankles.
The Bucks (11-10) have won nine of their last 11 games going into Friday’s matchup with the Celtics, and Middleton, 33, is back.
During 2023–24, Middleton averaged 15.1 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.7 rebounds. In 739 games (650 starts) over 12 seasons, he averaged 16.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.2 steals while playing for the Bucks and Detroit Pistons (2012–13).
In 2012, Middleton was selected by Detroit in the second round (39th overall). He helped the Bucks win the NBA title in 2021–21 after being traded to Milwaukee in July 2013.
