Diamond’s children are mine, Zuchu says!

Over the years, the two musicians’ friendship has been sporadic.
The Tanzanian singer Zuchu has responded to rumors about her views on having children with Diamond Platnumz, her intermittent partner.

Diamond and the “Sukari” hitmaker have had their share of highs and lows throughout their romance, which most recently ended on November 12.

The 29-year-old has received praise from many for delaying becoming a mother until after obtaining a more stable commitment from Diamond, who is already a father of four, despite their turbulent romance.

In the past, Zuchu has questioned Diamond’s motives, wondering if he is wasting her time or when he intends to marry her.

Zuchu talked candidly about her current outlook on motherhood in a recent interview. “I usually bring my kids here because I already have them.” She referred to Diamond by his given name, Naseeb Abdul Juma, saying, “I am already a mother because I have children with Naseeb and his children are mine.”

There are other ways to become a mother besides giving birth. Raising others or being an aunt to your siblings’ children are two ways you can be a mother. I consider myself fortunate to be the mother of my partner’s children. For now, that is plenty for me.

Zuchu had previously been seen spending a lot of time with Diamond’s kids, whom he has with Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna and Zari Hassan.

Fans have praised their co-parenting style, praising the blended family’s ability to manage their relationships.

In a widely shared video from December 2023, Zuchu was shown consoling Princess Tiffah, Diamond’s daughter with South African socialite Zari Hassan, demonstrating her loving nature.

Tiffah became upset during a boat journey that the family was enjoying. Zuchu comforted her affectionately throughout the video.

“Twende, mother. It’s like being on a yacht, so you know it’s entertaining. There’s no chance of you drowning. Do you intend to attempt a nap? What are you craving? As she helped soothe the young child, wrapped her in a blanket, and made sure she felt secure, Zuchu urged her not to cry.
