Ariana Grande declares she won’t be going back to singing because she becomes emotionally invested in the contestants

Considering how “emotionally attached” she becomes to the competitors, Ariana Grande has ruled out returning to “The Voice.”

The pop sensation, 31, has acknowledged that it takes a lot to be so “invested” in all of the aspiring talents on the program, despite the fact that she was a coach alongside Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and John Legend on the US version of the spinning-chair talent show in 2021.

“I became very emotionally attached to everyone,” she remarked in an interview with the “Las Culturistas” program.

“I have that problem.”

Keeping an eye on them all on social media, the “Wicked” star even brought certain members of Team Ariana, including Holly Forbes, Jim Allen, and Sasha Allen, to her family’s Thanksgiving feast.

“I adore everyone,” she clarified.

“I love getting to know new people, and I felt really involved. I still do, as if I were viewing them all on Instagram.

Ariana joked that she enjoyed spinning around on the large red seats during the NBC talent show.

“That was a perk,” she remarked. It was a nice benefit. I have a great time.

The singer of “7 Rings,” who took Nick Jonas’ spot on “The Voice,” has already talked about how difficult the show is.

She said to E! News: “You see it on TV and you think, ‘Well, I’m going to get in there and it’s going to be easy whatever.'” But it’s really challenging. The other coaches have a lot of experience and are quite skilled.

Additionally, during her appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” she admitted to violating the rules about communication with the competitors.

“I speak with them all, constantly,” she revealed. “DM them,” I said. They say things like, “You shouldn’t do that.” And I say, “I apologize.”

Concerned that the news would “scare the absolute s***” out of her followers, Ariana acknowledged that she intends to slow down her musical career.

Although she has assured fans that she isn’t permanently giving up music, she revealed that her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the two-part big-screen rendition of the Broadway classic “Wicked” has inspired her to go back to her musical theater origins.

Since 2013, Ariana has put out seven studio albums. She said on the show, “It is my heart.”

I’m going to say something really terrifying that will make my fans and everyone else frightened, but I love them, and they’ll handle it, and we’ll always be here.

“I will always perform on stage, create music, and do pop-related things, I swear.” But I don’t think I’ll be doing it at the same pace as I have for the last ten years in the coming ten years.

When Ariana was just 15 years old, she made her stage debut in the Broadway production of “13” in 2008.

“Reconnecting with this part of myself that started in musical theater and loves comedy to do that — finding roles to use these parts of myself and put them in little homes and characters and bits and voices and songs,” the former child star continued.

“I would really love to do anything that makes sense, whatever roles we think fit, or anywhere I could truly do a good job or honor the material.” For me, I believe it’s much better. I am becoming emotional.
