According to LL Cool J, he is the “most significant rapper to have ever lived”

According to LL Cool J, he is “the most important rapper that ever existed.”

When he began his career in the 1980s, the 56-year-old musician was among the first rappers to attain mainstream success, and he feels that he has left an enduring legacy in the genre.

“Le Code” on Apple Music: “I’m (going to) say this humbly, but I really mean this,” LL Cool J said. People will eventually discover that LL Cool J is the most significant rapper in history, in my opinion. I firmly think that will be said by someone at some point.

“They’re going to look and say, ‘Wow, this is the guy who introduced all the diamonds, and the ice, the jewelry, and the champagne,'” he added.

“They will say, ‘This is the one who introduced the love songs and all the love s***,’ in reference to the love songs.

Regarding the bad boy feeling, they will recognize that this is the one who first popularized the rebellious, bad boy sentiments. They will say, “This is the guy who came up with all the G.O.A.T stuff,” in reference to the G.O.A.T. vocabulary. I could continue forever.

Along with his “unfathomable” contribution to hip-hop culture, LL Cool J has rapped, appeared in a number of TV series and films, and started his own record label, P.O.G. (Power of God).

After signing with Def Jam Recordings in 1984, the rapper known for “Going Back to Cali” stated: “I’ve done so much for the culture, it’s almost unfathomable.”

“The label I launched on launched the biggest billionaire artists and every artist you can think of.”

“I am expressing this with love, not in a humorous or haughty manner, and I truly sincerely… It is nearly incomprehensible to me when I see the epicenter of what it truly is.
