The ex-girlfriend of Creed actor Jonathan Majors drops the assault case against him

The case that Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend had against him has been dropped.

Grace Jabbari sued the “Creed III” star for assault and slander in March of this year, three months after he was found guilty of misdemeanor assault against her. However, she has now filed papers to dismiss the civil case with prejudice, which means it cannot be brought again.

Court records filed on Thursday, November 21, 2012, which TMZ got show that Grace filed a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice.

“All claims against Defendant in the above-captioned action are hereby dismissed with prejudice,” she and Jonathan agreed through their own lawyers.

The 35-year-old actor was charged by the dancer in her lawsuit of a “pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023.”

The day after a fight in September 2022, Grace said her then-partner threw her against the hood of her car and then took her inside, where he “started hitting her head against the marble floor while strangling her until she felt she could no longer breathe.”

“After the event, Majors texted Grace and asked her not to tell anyone what had happened,” she said. Although she was in pain from the abuse he gave her, Majors was worried about his job.

She said she was slandered when the ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantomania’ star “doubled down on his public attack on Grace, saying that she is lying about the whole pattern of abuse she has described because he has ‘never laid hands on a woman.'” This happened “following his conviction and prior to sentencing.”

It was found in December 2023 that Majors was guilty of misdemeanor attack in the third degree, causing physical harm without intending to, and harassment in the second degree. The charges were related to a fight that allegedly happened between the two in March 2023.

Misdemeanor assault in the third degree with intent to cause physical harm and misdemeanor severe harassment in the second degree were also thrown out against him in the same case.

He was given a year of counseling for domestic abuse and put on probation.
