A jury has found that McGregor sexually abused a woman in 2018

MMA fighter Conor McGregor must pay nearly 250,000 euros ($259,950) in damages for sexually assaulting a woman in Dublin in 2018. This was ruled by a jury on Friday.

That’s how long it took the panel of eight women and four men to decide. They took six hours and ten minutes.

For two weeks, Nikita Hand, the plaintiff, said that McGregor sexually assaulted her on December 9, 2018, and that another man, James Lawrence, did the same. This was heard in Ireland’s top court.

It was said that McGregor, 36, had “fully consensual sex” with Hand, but he denied it. He also said he didn’t hurt the complainant.

Hand’s lawyer told the jury that when she was taken to a unit for treating sexual assault the day after the alleged assault, a doctor was so worried about her that he told someone to take a picture of her injuries.

Hand said that she and a friend got in touch with McGregor after a Christmas party at work. She told him that he drove them to a party in a penthouse room of a hotel in south Dublin, where drugs and drink were being drunk.

According to her, McGregor took her to a bedroom in the apartment and raped her. John Gordon, Hand’s lawyer, said that Hand was “full of drugs” and on antidepressants at the time of the charge of attack.
