Snoop Dogg Starts a Jewelry Line

Snoop Dogg introduced a jewelry line to provide fans with something tangible to cherish in light of the diminishing presence of CDs and cassettes.

The rapper has launched his own brand named Lovechild, showcasing chain necklaces, bracelets, and crown-shaped rings crafted from various metals, including 14-karat gold vermeil and sterling silver. He aspires for it to take the place of physical music recordings in the collections of his fans.

He shared with WWD: “I used to provide you with CDs and cassettes and items that you could physically hold, but my music, you can’t physically hold anymore.”

“It can only be heard.” I would like to offer you something tangible that you can hold, wear, and enjoy. You will experience love, as that is the essence of it all.

The hip-hop star disclosed his active participation in the design process, emphasizing that he aims to be more than just the celebrity face of the brand. He has also ensured that the price points remain accessible for his fans, allowing them to afford the pieces.

He explained: “I’m discussing everything from selecting the links and choosing the style to collaborating closely with the team, ensuring that the pieces are ones I would wear. So when you see me in them, it makes you feel good wearing them too.”

“I want to be more than just a participant in a brand where I simply receive payment, film a commercial, and move on.” This is an integral aspect of my daily routine.

He concluded, “It isn’t costly.” It is an option that is within people’s financial reach. There’s no need to feel like you have to push yourself to wear the style that Snoop is showcasing.

“You can pick up a few items and feel great about it, wearing them daily.”

The collection will be available at Metal Alchemist and Reeds stores, as well as online, starting December 6.
