Romania defeated Kosovo 3-0 during a walk-off

UEFA said on Wednesday that Romania had been given a 3-0 victory against Kosovo after their Nations League match in Bucharest was called off after the visiting squad left.

The Kosovo players fled the field with the score at 0-0 on Friday after they heard pro-Serbia shouting from home supporters, which Romania has disputed, leading to the game’s abandonment in stoppage time of Group C2.

Kosovo should forfeit the game after UEFA determined that they were to blame for the game’s cancellation.

A punishment of 128,000 euros ($135,000) was imposed on the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) for a number of offenses, including discriminatory conduct and inappropriate team conduct.

Additionally, because of racist anti-Hungarian chanting, the FRF was ordered to close its stadium for the upcoming home game.

For its team’s inappropriate behavior, the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) will be fined 6,000 euros.

With 15 points, Romania led the group, while Kosovo came in second with 12.
